We are currently suffering a decrease in forum stability, and SUPER slow load times. Our host has gone DOWNHILL big time, and we are currently looking for an alternative host who can handle our needs.
To help with the Database servers lack of memory issues, I have had to turn off a few things that affect performance in hopes that it may help keep the forum from crashing so much.
One of the things that had to be shut down was the "view who's online" option which uses resources, and one of the other items is the "recent posts" box on the portal page. Now if you would like to view the latest posts to the forum, click the "forum" tab just under the Vegas sign.
Once on the Forum listing page, simply click the "new posts" link under the sign, and under and to the left of the forum tab.
Sorry for the inconvenience this is causing - it's personally driving me NUTS!!!!
