Hey Guys,

DSR&PC has hired an Acoustics Consultant to do a sound study for the club.
One of our use permit requirements by the County Commissioners.

We will be doing the testing on Friday Morning starting at 7:00 AM.
Please inform your shooters.

We would appreciate as many shooters out at the club on Friday August 7, 2009 starting time 7:00 AM.

Just to let interested parties know...
DSRPC member Al S. ( you probably know Al and his son from the subgun matches), conducted the sound tests as required by the county as part of their five year use permit renewal. Because Al is a member of DSPRC, it was felt his readings may not be impartial due to his association with the club, so an independent, (read expensive), new sound test will be conducted at some point in the future.

On a side note, "Big Scott" told me he was out shooting the day of the testing and in his opinion, by the entrance to the club, the loudest noise was the cars driving by.
