May 2006 ViMBAR Match results

We had twenty eight shooters out on a beautiful sunny day for our May match. Jim Coe designed four challenging stages with two being shot off hand and the others featuring multi distance targets.
We had a surprise visit from VMBAR Mike and guess what, surprise, he won the match.
Good shooting, Mike.
We also held the second part of the 2006 Enfield Award. This featured the No. 4 Enfield .

June 2006 ViMBAR Results

25 shooters showed up at the crack of 8.00am for this months match. Jim gave us four stages, including the now infamous grenade roll. No laying down on the job this time, with two stages shot standing and two sitting. Three of the stages had targets at multiple distances.
By starting an hour earlier, we enjoyed a pleasant warm morning, with a little wind for the last half hour or so.

July 2006 Match results

The morning was perfect for a match. Cloud cover kept it cool until the very end. 27 eager competitors started at 8.00am to shoot four stages.
The grenade toss through a rifle slit tested everyone and only a few got the bonus.

August ViMBAR Results

It was a tough match this month, as you can see from the results. Possible high score of 58, and nobody got over 40.
Two of the five stages were shot off hand, plus the wind was gusting, and changed direction by about 90 degrees during the course of the match.
We had twenty five competitors.

October 2006 ViMBAR

The ViMBAR match this Saturday will be honoring the centennial of the .30-06 cartridge. It will be a 100 round match, five stages 20 rounds each. If you shoot any .30-06 ViMBAR rifle, you will be eligible for the special centennial award.
All shooters, regardless of rifle caliber, will be eligible for the regular award ribbons.

November 2006 ViMBAR Results

It was a cold windy morning for the 22 shooters who showed up for the match.
It was our .30-06 Centennial event, and Jim Coe set up five stages, 20 rounds on each. Shooting from all four positions, we had some off hand targets at 300 yds and multiple targets out to 500 yds.
With the gusting wind, it was a challenging morning for everyone.

A cool but sunny morning with just the hint of a breeze. Perfect shooting weather.
Jim had four stages for us. Two with multiple distance targets and two shot off hand.
Twenty six shooters with five also competing in the Enfield Award.
