HBOs next "Band Of Brothers"

i was telling a few people at the labor day shoot that Spielberg, and Hanks are working on there sequel to Band of Brothers for HBO called the Pacific, but this one is going to be about the U.S. Marine Corps BRUTAL Pacifc campaign.

i cannot describe how excited i am about seeing this!!

From my understanding, it is based mostly on the book "With The Old Breed"

i was telling Dorne about how great that book is. Everyone should read it if they get a chance

I cant wait either my grandpa on my moms side was a Marine in world war two on the pacific He was in from beggining to end He told me stories all the time. I remember I was going thru his medals and ask how he got his bronze star he just cried and said he couldnt talk about it he had a bronze and silver star and also a purple heart he also had a bunch of other awards and medals he retired as a master gunnery sargeant he also served in korea this show will really hit close to me as the first one did.

I loved the first series as my moms other dad (stepdad) my other grandpa who also told me stories was in the 101st airborne in easy company He was in every single battle on the show and died a year before the show started he would have loved it he also earned a bronze star a silver star and purple heart and distinguished service cross as well as a bunch of others man oh man The band of brothers series is great
