After coming here every day for a week and seeing a different spam post made at least once a day by a new member advertising crap like cialis, or ps3, or telephones, or video games i decided to add a few questions to the registration that will prevent computer controlled spambots from being registered to the forum.
New members who register will have to answer whether they are a spammer, or a spambot and manually select no from a drop down box
New members will have to answer whether or not it gets over 100 degrees in the summer in Las Vegas
and New members will have to type in the telephone area code for Las Vegas, NV
if you are new to the forum and are thinking of registering, please be prepared for these questions during your registration.
If you do not answer the questions correctly, it will not let you get past the restration screen so please try to take your time and read all the registration carefully.
We appologize for the inconvenience of having to do this, but it should GREATLY cut down on the spam that gets posted to the forum by spambots. Having those extra questions should shut down 99% of the spam by stopping the bots in there tracks at the registration screen.
Thanks for your time, and sorry for the inconvenience
