The "Parade" Mosin, is a special treatment I did to several of my C&R rifles. I really like the silver non blued look on a rifle, and since we have very little rust here I have no fear of taking that protective blueing off. I use Naval Jelly, then sand with 400 grit sanding sponges until they shine. I did the same to a few other rifles, so I guess I outta post pics now that i mentioned them. I really wanted to do that to my PSL, but for one, it's be a hugh project due to the size and number of complex parts, plus I only have one so I will keep it original with finish, eventually I will have the metal re-finished to a nice satin black...but that's down the road.

If I can ever make it to one of the hubcap shoots, i will bring it for sure to show.

It does, though I have yet to test mine at long range, I have seen vids of folks getting past 600 yards with it. I have done pretty nice groups at 150 yards with mine, and will go up from there in 100 yard increments until I can get a fair group at 1k.
